Firstly this is my first anime work and I hope it's good. The armor and weapons were inspired by Ben's work Bengosha and I hope he doesn't mind(which I think is an excellent piece of work I even have the wallpaper on my computer). Any comments and suggestions are welcome. Thanx. The link to the image is below. I'm thinking of naming him Emerald Warrior but if anyone has anything better let me know

nice! hehe, i can see the resemblance to BK's one...but i don't think he'll worry *puts on flame suit*
one thing which seems to be "frowned upon" in various art circles is to not use the lens flare in photoshop...i know it looks cool but i dunno...its just a bit cliched...trust me! i've used it one or two times myself
another thing...make your drawings larger...i only recently figured this out myself but it makes mistakes in the linework less obvious...so if you drew the pic initially on A4 then try it on A3 and see if it makes a difference... ...(hehe, i love these smilees!)

Yeah what random_task said is quite true.
While personaly I think it is ok to use filters(as lon s it looks good). But in your case it is a bit overkill. So I would say drop th lensflares and add more "darker" shading to it (especial the armor), to give it some depth.
The guy on the other side looks good. The proportions are fine right now.
Maybe the hands could be bigger, but I should do it myself better before critic it.

Thanx a lot for the feedback guys. Yup I think the lens flare was a bit of overkill wasn't it. I guess I just got carried away. Well I'll keep that in mind and work on the shading a bit more. Thanx.

Ace Stuff R_P! Nah, I'm not gonna mind, in fact it's cool to know you've taken some influence from my design! *ahem, sorry, I'll get off the band wagon now ^_^ Perhaps some shading on the armor and hair? I see you've used diffent tones on the skin, etc. So a little more noticable variation of tone on the rest of the areas would be good. Not too keen on the Lens flair either, but it's a cool piece overall

Thanx a lot bomu...ya now that you mention it and looking over the pic a bit longer I know I should have used more shading on the armor and other areas as well...will keep that in mind for my next piece . Thanx a ton
