i spent a few hours coloring Og after i modified him a bit. heres the image, and keep in mind this is my very first coloring/cg attempt.

but i would put more contrast between his hand color and his dagger.

really cool colouring sentient especially for a first timer. much better than my first attempt. okay, here's a few gripes:

for some reason parts of the pic look more blurry than the rest.

what Tuigi said about the knife handle. Also the blood looks a little too viscous making it look to fake. try to make the knife seem stained with blood rather than covered by sticky guey stuff.

the hair looks unfinished, there aren't any shadows or variation.

hm can't realy say something new to it.
For a first time it is definitiv a good piece but I'm sure you will say to your self what a crappy work in half a year

For coloring a pencil drawing on the comp.
I would say either darken the lines more, to give him a better outlining.
Or use the pencils as a guide and redraw the whole thing on top.

giam, i agree with the whole crappy-in-a-year bit, its more like crappy-in-a-week tho. imo, im gettin a lot better by the day, so i look back a day, 2 days, a week, and it sux. but w/e
thx for the comments, i know og sux, maybe ill redo him at a later date, when i progress more. currently im workin on some characters at art class, so ill show u tomorrow

Pretty good for a first CG, glad you finished off the legs on thre line art.

Keep doing more CGS to practice tho, and are you making sure to lay down your flats first, or are you just painting onto the white BG?

well i have my pic on the top layere, set to multiply, then i color the main colors on a layer beneath it, then i merge the layers and blend in the pencil work for shading and add details.
