OK OK on here you will find flaws as your observan experts but on TZ they say this is my best CG yet!
Its an original of mine called Kurak an elemental sorcerer who uses dark arts and fire power. Hes the badguy of my ficiton story Crimson Star.

nice pic Hellangel. the cging is really cool. The linework could have been made a bit more cleaner before cging.

for some reason it looks to me as if the head and arms are a bit too large for the body. also (sorry) the fire in her hands should be made to seem as if it is giving off light (which real fire does) it seems a bit too dull.

Eep knew some1 on here would notice stuff. Kuraks a he I have an obsession with long haired guys. The lineart major sucks cos it was a pencil sketch for a pal I decided to CG him l8r so overall it was just a quick sketch perhaps if he looked like my Nika lineart pic he might be better. and the fire doesn't give off light really cos its Dark fire meaning evil fire it would give off shadow. But bear in mind this is my 2nd CG since I recently got Photoshop and discovered layers.

Pretty good colouring job and for a second attempt too! :3

Can't think of anything to critique that Katt (Can I call you Katt? XB)hasn't already mentioned. But Making the lineart thicker and darker would be cool~

ooh long hair ownz me!!!! Its so cool on a guy. ithink i'll outline him and mabe try again l8r with better lines as he was a pencil sketch concept.

Yup you're right It is your best CG so far and it has flaws.

So the lines have allready been pointed out.

Major problem is propably the hip/leg section, it is overall too wide giving the impression that it is a she(yup you tricked me too ).

For the CG.
Well I dunno how much room the chara description lets for artistic freedom.
But as far as my 2d beat'em up memory goes black/purple is quite fitting as evil flame colors.
And I propably would do a contrasting BG to push the person more to the foreground.

I guess I wont go get a new haircut as planned now .

To sum up- Those red tones work really well, good CG overall, I really have no idea why you complain so much about your CGing since you're better than a lot of good people I know!

Are we gonna see more Kurak art in the future?

You could say Kuraks a bishounen though he isn't meant to be too girlish I think Cyja is more bishounen than him Cyja's just way too thin and wears tight clothes with a mad helmet!
GIAM Ooh I didn't know I think Kuraks waist should be wider overall I rushed the sketch cos I never thought i'd colour him black and purple yeah i'll try that as the story progresses and his power develops.
bomu evry1 says the the colours work well but hes elemental he would. wow really I dunno I'm more confident since TZ checked him out and now you too. Yeah more Kurak hes one of my fav originals and TZ like him a bit too I think its his attitude hes got a very unlikely sarcastic kinda streetwyse attitude for a sorcerer with a quick temper too. Another Kurak pic can be found at CS site which needs remakin click on back to main and go to artwork other CS characters can be found there too. In the pic with Star he looks more like a guy I think. though hes still bishounen
