Haven't finished anything in ages, so I decided to cg this doodle. First time using pencil outlines; I decided to give it a try in order to get a darker atmosphere. I'm probably gonna use this technique alot more ^^;

What program and brushes or tools did you use that is sooo cool man!!

Woah!! That IS good, very dark and atmospheric!(sp?) I love those hands, and the texture is...yummy? Sorry thats the only word I can think of, lol. Top stuff!

Hey Bugsy could you be a tad more specific about those custom brushes??
Like did you find them somewhere or how did you create them?? If you want to remain it secret i understand its just a really cool tech. id like to try on my own.

or maybe if you could help me i could come up with something of my own if thats sorta your own thing.

Just experiment with layering, and photoshop comes with a set of custom brushes.
I sometimes make them myself, but there are lots of tutorials on the net for that.

awesome stuff Bugsy. the texturing is amazing, real good. and the colours are pretty cool too.

Its like a victorian asylum picture. Like hes trying to recapture his sanity in the quiet moments between treatments. Gothic n very good.
