I had this sketched out for a while, and I finally got a chance to scan it today. I didn't know what I was trying to go for, but I really messed up her face.

Sorta tired of looking at it! Hope I can get some suggestions and then dive in again. Any C&C would be great!!

Nice!!! hmm lets see definately i think you need to use some darker tones on the shadow side of her face. Define that part of her nose as well and maybe.... render and define her eye lashes that might help...

overall a very sexy pic!! (kidding but it is very good tho!!)

ohhhh..i like it! the background is nice, and her face in the second one is alot better too ^.^

i guess all i would have to suggest on is that her feet seem a little to small, but than again, some people just have small feet ^^;

second one is definately better - her face looks much more realistic... you lowered the eyes some, etc? Also, I don't think it's so much that the feet are too small, rather that they look a bit weird at that angle, and like she has no toes... almost like she's floating on the spot... otherwise, I honestly can't see anything wrong with that second pic, it's great... ;)

Kaori> Thanks! You're right about the feet. they were the last things I colored and I didn't spend enough time on them. I'll go back and see what I can do with them.

Pixie> I'm glad the second one was an improvement, usually the more I fiddle with a picture the worse it gets hehe. I'll see what I can do about the feet! Feets and hands, they're definitely my weakpoints.

Have to agree on the feets, but it looks like you had her standing on something in the scetch.
Maybe it helps to ground her, if you draw the standing ground in aswell.

Otherwise I like the CG and the second picture is allready a great improvement.
The textured BG is very effective in this drawing.
Excellent work in my eyes.

Nice!! much better!! Well about the feet i really dont mind the position and stuff like that gives the feeling like she's floating etc. But definetaly i would make them a bit bigger (use her forearm as a guide). And the toes and stuff and bingo!! Its perfection!!

ack! had to upload the images onto a new server, looks like my old one's down.

Anyway thx for the comments everyone, it really motivates me to improve on the picture. I took it and fiddled around with it some more. I tried fixing her feet, but I forgot to fix the proportion issue, I'll do that next update.

I also introduced some green in her skin tones, and more of the background colors to her "clothing" hehe. Also upped the contrast a bit.
