okay, I only really want crits on the first thing, and maybe the second if you've got anything to say about it. The third thing is just something for art college - so it's not too important.okay, firstly - guy playing (okay, not playing, just holding) a guitar.  he's smudgy 'cause I accidentally got ink from a printing project on him. Blue ink. (sigh). Used various refs for the guitar, since I never drew one before... and secondly...  I drew her from a photo last night, and thinking of trying to sell her... not TOO sure about this one. Kinda cheating to draw *directly* from a photo (even if I don't really count reference pics as cheating)... and thirdly...  some pictures of fruit boxes! These were for college. Not quite sure why I bothered putting them up, really... :/ anyhoo. let me know, folks...  Pixie

cool you finaly found a good hosting service.
lets see.The first one looks overall good in my eyes. My main concern about him is, that his nose goes up to his eyebrows.
I think it would look better if you only indicate that part of the nose with a shadow.
The other thing is his guitar it looks very flat almost 2d.
I would suggest to show some of the thickness of the guitar, by letting the viewer see parts of the side.
I think it would work best with his pose if you add the 3dimension, on the lower side of the guitar. dunno if that made any sense to you. second one looks very tight.
like it, no critics . I'm sure if you clean up the smudges and give it the hairspray treatment it will easly sell. btw how long did it take you to finish it. the last one
uhm, not much to say about it.
Not sure if the perspective is spot on in the last part.
but a very sexy fruit box

urgh, okay, I'm not sure if this is happening for everyone, but stupid freeservers has put up "no remote linking" signs for me, so just in case, here's the linkage: http://www.pixie.4mg.com/custom2.html Thanks fer yer crits - I'll try and sort that guitar. I've also got comments that the neck (of the guitar) is too long - unless it's a bass (which is patently isn't)... so I'm going to have to work on this anyway...
as for shoulders - the right one should be higher? I'll take a look - but he's kinda slanted anyway (and that arm's bent, so shoulder should be lower)... and yeah, I know his chest/stomach's a little fucked... I was going for simple suggestion rather than total accuracy...  as for the second pic... well, she took me about 1 an 1/2 hours, on an off (while watching teevee!)... I'll have to chop off the left hand side too (it's on a bit of A3 sketchpad paper with ringbound holes down the left hand side - you just can't see them cause of me teeny tiny scanner!) - think I should frame it somehow? Should possibly get a slightly better price... maybe just get a bit of mounting board, or summat... hmm. the fruit boxes are silly.
