Hey all, I hope everyone's having a good holiday. Jus wanna drop off a couple of sketches I had done, which I've finally scanned. The first is from reference, the last two are original. Any crits are welcomed of course!! I have a few more sketches uploaded on my site... but I won't post em here, since you modem users are probably dying already

Thanks a bunch, n happy holidays!

Nice job Azyie those are some nice soft sketches.
How long it take you to do those three?

I glanced at your site you do some cool paint coloring I like it.
Coloring looks awesome and adds a good feel to them.

Well here is my crits, 1st Sketch I think you have the eyes spaced out a slight too much and the right eyebrow is a bit to higher to the other.. But, I'm not sure if it's an expression in her face or such.

2nd Sketch I think that one persons hand needs to be retouched in the bottom-left.. it appears her fingers are broken or out of size to perspective. They seems to bend outward to the left of her joints and the lower finger extensions should be slightly smaller in length than the first if they are folding inward to her body. The guy looks fine in the top right.

I particular think your best one is the girl in the bottom-right. But, I wish you made her chin more round rose the nose up and to the right a touch so it doesn't make her face long-gated.
If done so that seriously would have been one pretty elf.

3rd Sketch I think you did it really well.. But, as I looked harder I noticed her limbs seem to shrink down to twigs at the joints.. if you look at her legs it goes to a thin width to a more outward shape it may just be me. Unless she has some incredible thin legs.

Overall my favorite sketch is the one of that girl in the lower right.
Well, I hope these crits help a touch tried to go into a more pro. depth.

Dekar: Thanks a lot for all the comments Dekar, I really appreciate it.
-You're right about the girl's eyes and eyebrow. I should have paid closer attention to the placement of her features! :/

-hehe yea I didn't want to include the girl at the bottom left at first, she is flawed in many areas. Good point about the fingers, I really need to work more on hands.

-I was quite fond of that "elf" portrait also But I see what you mean about the chin and nose, it makes her a bit too masculine.

-Ack good catch on the third sketch too, I must've focused too much on drawing the pants, and didn't focus enough on the actual legs under it Again thanks a bunch dude, I'll definitely keep your crits in mind on my next batch

SilentDan: hehe thanks a bunch man, I love your avatar, that orc's awesome.
