X__x; i started this painting THREE YEARS AGO!! i took a break for nearly a year though.. and this past year ive spent my time redoing it

here she is!. . . . scanned horribly becuase none wants to take me to kinkos

@__@;; the original idea was extremely colorful.. but evema didnt stand out.. so i when i repainted it i designed everything to make evema *the creature* the center figure

did it work?

i hope you like it! this painting captures my style *i know i tried to change it but i couldnt x_x*

critiques are welcomed!

OOoh I love it, it's amazing!
It has this otherworldly feel to it, which reminds me a bit of some LP cover art from the '60s or '70s ^^

Hm very dreamy, I like it.
And with most of your stuff no critics, keep your freaky but cute creatures coming.

wow this is gorgeous, takes me back to my youth looking at the illustrated adventure books in the local library. Definately proffessional!

Wow- 3 years?! Yeah, I totally gotta agree with everyone else's comments. It looks great! Big shame about those scan lines. If you've got access to Photoshop or some other photo editing package, maybe you could use the clone/smudge/blur tools on those "seems" to get rid of the noticable divides. How big was the original painting?

One thing I really love is the lighting- the blue sort of undershadow effect make it all look really realistic and kinda like a professional Cel background!

Ace Looking forward to more and maybe when you've got enough cool finished pieces like this, you could produce a portfolio and start pitching it to book publishers and stuff!
