My first (well sorta) full blown pic of my sites mascot Samurai Panda, and I'm very happy with it, I change my CGing method, much nicer. Tell me what you think...it looks simple but it still took me a day toCG lol...ooo I tell you what would be really cool, some fanart never had any before :P http://www.deviantart.com/view/1220473

oh man the little guy looks preety cool really. As far as technic goes, I would add a hard edged shadow under him to ground him more. and some parts of the coloring might look a bit too emboss especial the arm, to the right ( ).
But besides of that, I think he will make an addorable site mascot. As far as fanart goes, well you never know wierd thinks happen all the time. Ofcourse you could make a game with him and then talk Bomu into making a MVGC for him.

he's very cool.... I agree about the hard-shadow thing. Also, imo he might look better with harder shading all over?? more cell-shaded and less smooth. love the way his tongue pokes out - he's so cute! you realise you're going to have a million fans asking for lil samuri panda plushies now?? XD

your'e probably right Pixie, this was one of my first proper attempts at the smooth cging style, I didn't think it was that bad for the stage I'm at, usually I would have done it anime cell style. Hes the mascot of my new artsite 'The Samurai Panda Experience' www.geocities.com/the_samurai_panda_experience I'm working on it now
