I've been so out of it lately, haven't drawn much apart from doodles during boring classes since New Year's. A friend's birthday was coming up so I had to draw him something. Motivation was lacking so as well as being to late, it doesn't look as good as it should -_-;
Anyway, enough frustrated yapping:

Woo, I like this. Your shading and highlights are quite impressive on the girl. You even managed to make it look good the way it's all blended in. I like the facial area in particular, you managed to define each feature very well. I could learn a lot about shading from this pic...
Compostion-wise, the sense of scale is there, and I liked the sort of 'wild' look that you gave her. I don't know what you're talkig about when you said "it doesn't look as good as it should -_-;" lol - It looks pretty damn excellent to me.
Overall, nice work my friend.

wooooah you love your dragons an girls huh X3

I think your female characters are getting more attractive >:3~

lol I love the shine on her clothes, makes it look like latex but I think a little too shiny when the background is a cloudy one. Don't matter as long as it looks sweet X3

Thx :3
I think every girl should have her own dragon And yeah, I saw the Matrix again last week-end, so that explains the latex part

The shines on the clothing are done by dodge airbrushing, nothing fancy :3

Wau looks classy as allways bugsy, especial the dragon skin and horns.
Sometimes when I look at the mountain in the back, they look a bit out of place, dunno why(but not that important no one looks at them long enough ).

those shiny bits on her top are excellent... let me guess - dodge/burn tool?? anyway, her shoulder is *so* slightly off as to be unnoticeable. This is a very accomplished piece of work! Nice that you had time to do something so good! the texture on his horns is great - make it yourself??

the only thing I might add is: her hair could possibly do with being a little shinier? just to add more contrast. but then, that's problee a style thing.
and the smoothness of it, overall, is a little imperfect - did you do this in Painter? it has an almost painterly feel to it... not that that's necessarily a bad thing, more just to mention - her skin has a slight texture you may not have wanted?

hope this is good criticism and not evil...? anyhow, very nice work! lines are fantastic - very neat.

thx :3

Yeah, Giam, you're right about the mountains. It got worse when I changed the colour of the mountain right before the snowed one, so that it looks like it's part of a whole :/

Pixie: Almost right; it's a dodge layer I was trying out a technique on the skin that I usually only use on backgrounds, and that's the cause for the slightly painted look. But that's okay, imo, coz it looks a little bit like the Eric's colouring now (whom I made this for). But it's done in photoshop. The horns are painted on there as well

great pic bugsy. everyone pretty muc already pointed out how good it is. i agrre with G about the mountains but i also think that the horns and nose tip look a little out of place. The detailing on these are so good in comparison to the rest of the shading (not that the rest's bad btw!) that they don't seem to belong to the same pic. Hope you see what i mean.
