Hey guys! Jus wanna post up a picture I recently colored. I had the sketch of the character sitting around for a while tho. It's Robin from the anime Witch Hunter Robin. Her hands are sorta wonky, I think that's the weakest thing about the picture. Any crits would really help tho! Thx a bunch

Wau Ayzie That looks very Pro.
Gonna get hard to critic that, lets see. First of I think the hands look fine, considering that she wears gloves and there are in the dark.
A few things I would propably add to the image (not sure if it would look better tho), is some highlights in the eyes, and a shadow under her, to connect her with the background.
Other than this, Well I love it nothing more nothing less.

Hey GiAm, thanks for the comments. It was sorta lame of me, to hide her hands in shadow heheh. I can't cheat like that next time. I added some highlights to her eyes, not much, but it makes them a bit more "lively" . I was thinking of adding shadow under her before, but I'm too lazy (got a midterm tomorrow too :/). But I'll definitely try not to slack off next time
Thanks Shirai! The anime's pretty good, but it moves SLOW hehe, I stopped watching at the 12th episode... I'm trying to convince myself to watch the rest

I really like the picture, can see nothing wrong except the pic format, jpeg quality appears to have lost alot of its detail.

wow, u use paints for that? it's impressive. god knows, i been using photoshop so much i probably forgot . The hair shading looks quite cool. A little unsure about the colour, IMHO - I woulda used a slightly darker green. Still, it's all good. Another thing is the nose, tho. It might be me, but the colour of the shadow around the nostrils looks more like she's got a cold. Just a minor thing. Aside from that, it rocks. Post up more pics of this character if u can, k?

Hey Angelo! Thx for the comments, it was done mainly in Painter 7, and refined a bit in photoshop. You're right about my wacky color choice for the hair hehe. I colored it first, and at that time I wanted to use some sorta yellow green (dunno why...). Hehe the nose thing is just a little funky thing I tried doing. I've seen it done well by alotta other artists, looks like I overexaggerated it tho! Thx again, I'll try to do some more sketches of her

Ah allways those impressive painter stuff. Besides of what angelo said, I would like to add that her neck is way too long.

sorry for not getting back to you sooner GiAm, school has been sorta hectic. You're right about the neck and shoulders, I was really struggling to get them look right, but it's obvious that I've failed again!! I'll try to fix them up as soon as I can, thx!
