Hello everyone. Ive just had the most horrid art block of my life, nearly a week of drawin nothing but shit. Im nearly over it but not quite.

Jet Enduro, lone gunslinger chara from Wild Arms 3. Its not perfect but im nearly back to normal.

And Dan, dont ditch anime as your style. The american realism and anime style can be easily fused together. Dont ditch 1 for the other.

Art blocks are terrible >__< well least you are comming out of yours :3

Don't think I can see anything wrong with yur pic~ just that you pencilled rather heavily on some areas than others. Shading is quite nice tho

Anyway hope you get back into your top form :3

The pic looks cool, I'm not abandonning anime at all, just tried the one Comic book character, it comes more naturally to me american styles. I will have influences from both styles in my comic though.

I pencilled some areas darker cos his clothes are darker there. Red is a light shade, blue is a darker shade, brown leather is darkest, or something like that. He has white hair too..

Dan, I was sure you mentioned going over to a marvel style in that doctor henry topic. I dont read these things well enough do I .

And his gun really is that wierd lookin

Not so much an block now, as a shake of my confidence. Sometimes these things can really get to you, especially if it's what you do best (cos I cant really say I have any other skills to fall back on).

Someone else is watchin the two of them, thats why shes not lookin at her, at least that was the mentality behind it (gutter-esque though it was), like a sex show for a client.

One thing: mebbe the one on the right could have slightly more evil eyes (ie, raise her ones slightly), to convey the submission thang? just a suggestion, of course,hehe

I wanted them both to look innocent, to convey that whips/chains and freakish torture devices werent involved with what you could see. I hate hardcore S+M, OTT cumshots, pain=pleasure, anal, etc. More info than you wanted right ?

PRINCESS SALLY DE BOOTIED DRAFT
Shit little doodle of princess Sally. The only referenece I had was a badly pixelated pic off google so it may or may not be right. And since shes always technically naked, it's not hentai either. You decide. The colour is awful, but it was never intended to be anything other than a chara draft.

Thought id print this to save time.

Why the boobs ?
If youre gonna draw something, it may as well appeal to you. Im a boobs fan, so question answered.

Why is the colourin on her eyes n hair good, and shit everywhere else?
Very little care went into any of it, the light in her hair is just a zigzag with the lightener tool, and the eyes were just a scribble with it. It was just an experiment to see if I could actually draw the chara or not.

I didnt get any valentines (awwww!), so I drew one, not to send to myself, more as something to amuse my little mind. Thats my full anthro fursona. ( I have 2, one's a dog, one's a cat, confused?

). Id colour it but ive really fallen out of love with PSP, it makes bland disinteresting cg's and Im shit at it anyway. I know her hand looks a bit off, but it looked fine till I drew his leg over it.

OK, neo. Fair point. btw, did u have a look at my 'Michelle the pin up' pic yet? It's up in 'finished works' and the link works.
Man that's one huge ass comedy drawing. The parody is quite good, especially with the sweatdrop. The pencil colours are quite well blended in as well. Better than that colour pencil drawing I did...
(sigh) I'll really have to improve on my colouring pencil technique at some point. Too much photoshop methinks

ok first thing, first.

Keep in mind that my server space is limited.
And stuff like this is the first that has to leave when i need space (in other words upload it on your own webspace).

Now for the fun part.
I love most of the images, especial the avp stuff and the valentine day thing.
The other drawings are also cool but the breasts are a bit to round for my taste (gravity).

I like the shadows in the background especially, very Splinter Cell-ish. I really couldn't get into that game...

altho thats not to say MGS2 is the better of the two, I assure you! Played that all the way through... longest movie I ever played

I liked the game, solely because you couldnt go ramboing around, blastin at all n sundry. You had to sneak, or you died VERY quickly., and for the most part, the enemy AI was deviously clever and hyper sensetive. Any rushing got you shot in the ass quicker than Bin Ladin at burger king.

Most of all, I love an anti hero.

I didnt enjoy MGS2 cos it felt so, scripted, like you say, it was just like playin a movie with the odd interactive bit shoved in.

Indeed. I was lookin 4ward to it so much as well, and what does Kojima give us? a bloody interactive movie, with NOT ENOUGH SNAKE! Grrrr, Raiden was a poor substitute... Still, Substance should rectify that. Failing that, there is always Devil May Cry 2.
Anyways, back to the picture: very cool shading, along with the green glowy effect - how'd u do that?

Coloured the visor lenses in three green colours and scribbled little circles into the corner with the lightener tool. As for the shading, standard pencil shading with an HB lead, then I added highlights with a rubber, and further highlights with the lightener tool. Darkened the pic by about 30 or so percent too, and scribbled lines into the backround with the lightener tool. I think they look like gaps in trees or a hedge or something. If youve actually seen his night vision in the game, you can identify with the pic a lot more.
