overall pretty pro. silent, only thing I dont like is the fact that the board and the background are in the same color.
I would change the color of the board a bit, but besides of this I really love it.
The Inks are great and the coloring suits it very well.

XD that's cool... also, think there might be a fullstop missing in the first line between "dinner trays" and "unloved and unwashed"... the blurb's otherwise very good. Tend to agree with G.i.A.m about the colour of the board/colour of the background, though I'd be tempted to change the colour of the background rather than the board... desaturate it or darken it a bit? just to add a bit of contrast. otherwise the board blends in too well...

you're good at inventing bad guys, aren't you?? or is this one not as evil as he looks?

lol yeah I noticed the missing full stop, about him being a bad guy, I wasn't too sure, what do you think, would be nice to have a guy so foul but still a nice guy, although his 'powers' seem to be evil. I tried different colour backgrounds but red worked best, I dont mind the board being the same colour, I feel like it works, but some dont i guess I make too many bad guys so I'm thinking he may be good, or atleast neutral

yep, its cool all over! V. tight colouring. I like all the toxic symbols (especially the one in the background). The blurb works too - kinda reminds me of a twisted metal character, if that makes any sense!

Hmmm - I think it would be cool to have him as a good guy, but with a dark personality, like Spawn. As for the picture, I'm seething with envy . That is cool CGing, one of the best I've seen so far on the internet. I agree with the background issue, but I feel all it needs is a fading, to highlight the board - the colour scheme works together nicely, and the composition is good as well: you really feel as if this guy's gonna turn around and kill you.

Dan makes everyone look bad, neo... there's nothing we can do! *shakes fist at Dan*

*stomps off*

nah, seriously tho. If he does end up as bad guy, he'd probably be a sidekick-type bad guy, so if might be better to make him a good guy. or neutral. depends what sort of storyline you wanna stick him in, I guess. Neutral might work better since he won't really have too many mates if he's toxic - or good but a loner, like batman.

I'd appreciate anyones story ideas, cos im stumped, storys aren't my strong point. If someone is willing I'd like to make a small comic with someone

hmmm, depends - how urgent does it have to be? It sounds good, but (as u probably kno already) I'm working on one with Southern (check it out on the site - concept art up so far), so i can't really do anything immediately. But I could always help with ideas, if u are interested.

I got a few ideas. Since our Eddie is a sewer crawler, maybe he could find something that accidently got washed down the sewer grate, like a super formula or a prototype chip in a briefcase thats lost in a bungled kill n grab. Eddie finds it and the bad guys stalk him for it, all nightvisioned up with smg's. 'cept our Eddie can see in the dark, and since his physiology is so 'different' he doesnt show on thermal vision. Then he could end up finding out who sent em and killin him, beatin him up, whatever. 's rough but it seems to work.

No reason he cant be a hero, maybe he can bump into a little runaway girl at an outlet pipe and steal food for her, make friends with her. Or maybe a big dumb dog, he might look cool with a surfer dog sidekick.

Then again, you could make it darker. Maybe he returns to where he was thrown into the sewer as a child and finds something that stirs his memory of his parents. Then he goes off to find em, cue emotional whatnot.

Maybe demons could open a portal to Earth in the sewer, or from a temple miles under the city, linked to the sewer and it's up to Eddie to send em packin.

His body regenerates in sewer water, feeds on filth and nitrates.

Since we were gonna do a story before, I wouldnt mind. Ill put the treasure hunters thing on hold.

yeah, the kind you put ketchup on! SUPER EVIL PROTOTYPE POTATOES!! XD XD =)

hmm, I'm happy to chuck ideas at ya, Dan-dude, but I'm not good enough at writing (and waaaay too busy with end of course coursework, bah!) to do any actually writing. oh yeah, and seriously lazy too... ;)

I think this guy should be typical surfer dude - sez things like "knarly, man!" a lot... (see how little I know about surfers!)

and the story's gotta have something bad going down in the sewers - why else would Ebola leave them? he wouldn't, unless he was made to, surely. so mebbe: some other (evil) gang or person takes up residence in the sewers to do their evil work somewhere private (course Ebola would know the sewers so much better than them he'd kick their butts). or something like that.

hmm, and if he's neutral, they'd have to do something to personally offend HIM in order to incite his wrath - cause since he's not a do-gooding goodie-two-shoes he's not going to be particularly alturistic, is he?

just sum thoughts. mostly arse. ;)

If he's gonna have an anlligator, try making it some scary-looking mutant alligator, to fit in with the guy. Try reworking the alligator's legs a bit as well, to distinguish from normal alligators.

Yeah... cos otherwise he might mistake his alligator with all the other wondering around lol joke. Nah I'm gonna have a normal alligator, I don't want there too be too many mutations. Thanx though angelo, and great ideas Pixie
I was thinking maybe some kind of gang could be dumping bodies in the sewer, Eddy could watch people through the sewer grates like familys goin by and stuff (sob) He sees a family man with his kids and maybe a kid interacts with him somehow and isn't scared, very generic. But then later on he sees the kids dad dumped in the sewer. He gets real maaaad
Thats all I thought of so far lol, not much of a plan but just a thought I had
I'm loving all this input guys, plus yeah I think I'll have him talk like a surfer Pixie, but maybe a bit of a dumb surfer (is there any other kind?) lol
Thanx Guys!

I tried another background for the pic, and the info is different, I don't like it much, but I thought I'd try something since people didn't like the red on red

That's more like it - we can see the board clearly now, and the background doesn't seem too obstructive. That idea you came up with is quite good, it reminds me of Spawn - perhaps it's something you should develop further?
