at first look, its really cool, but there a couple of little niggles.. I think his head could use a bit more face detail (highlight his nose for example, just a little bit tho) and you could define the folds of his cape a little better (like I said, at first it looks effective, but when you look at it a bit closer its pretty obvious you've made random squiggles to simulate the folds in the cloth ) I still like it overall tho - it'd make a good banner or icon if you shrunk it down a bit.

Warning Harsh Sounding Rant ahead

To be honest I think your CGs really shows that they are made rather quick.
Take your time with coloring, especial with only a mouse.
I personaly hardly finish a coloring in 5 hours and with a mouse you should need more time not less.

Also make shadows.
All you really do is slap some highlights on a base color.
Sure the higlights are usualy perfect in place, but highlights are 2% of coloring and only the last step.

Experiment with the program.
Coloring on the pc has the great advantage that you can "undo" steps you dont like.
And they have layers so you can experiment with the coloring quite alot, without damaging your drawing.

Dont get me wrong, I like your drawing they are great and show a good junk of creativity. But your "I cant color" whining starts to get on my nerve.

I mean remember all those Animes, where the hero in the beginning is a weak guy.
He becomes a strong skillfull person 'couse he puts his mind on it and trains day in day out.

Become a coloring hero Neo you have the ability for it(really no joking).

So sorry in advance if I was to harsh.
But I think lies and kind words wont bring you forward with this.

actually G.i.A.m. that was rather well said it wasnt to harsh or to lenient i even felt your whole weak begining hero, strong ending hero sentence was deep, and was well put. Id have to agree with you though, Neo you are very talented, and i know i have no right to say this considering my skill or should i say "lack", and with the right amount of time put into it you can become even better. You've already come so far you can only get better man.

but i myself like the pic, but considering my skill i dont know if thats a compliment or insult hmmm..... take it how you want
