I decided there was no way a moron like me could draw like the bebop guy in a million years. So instead I adapted Spike to my style. This is my version of him an I like it. He's got that cheeky confident Spikeness that makes Spike so cool. He looks a bit young I think, but I still like it.
Been in an art funk lately, seems im coming out of it at last....Anyway, enjoy

lol that spawn is just like watching 'All Creatures Great and Small'
Nice work; on thing tho: on the hair and his vest, you can see the actual brushes (the round ends of the stroke), and some edges are shaky. I'd make the corners generally sharper. More people should do characters in their own style, it's a pleasant change to look at

Well if you like it it must be good
Seriously, thanks. I like that Spike a lot. Now I've just gotta draw the full monty, body and likeness, doing something.....more than likely stupid
Eeeee, I hate paint programs. Im doing my best about the shitty cg'ing. Ill get there eventually.....hopefully...

Hey sweet pic dude! it's great to see some bebop fanart. You're right about him looking too young tho, it's probably the eyes, since we're more used to seeing him with smaller ones.

Spawn pic - hahahahahahaahahahaha - scheisst! I think I split my sides!!
Spike pic - great cel shading. I have to agree, the eyes make him look more 16 than whatever he's meant to be in Cowboy Bebop, but it's always cool to use your own style. In other words, I like it.
lol now i'm gonna hav to bump my thread to the top...

Jesh only a few days busy and people start to do stupid things. So Please No Bumping its not a nice thing to do. And the board isnt so fast anyways, treads stay month on the first page. So there is seriously absolut no reason for bumps (and the only way I can enforce things with my limited moderator rights is by deleting ).
Ok now to friendlier things. Great to see you started shading it looks alot better now. But I agree with bugsy. Maybe change the brush size after you generaly shaded and refine the shapes with a smaller brush and the eraser.
btw. could instantly recognize spike and you pulled him of rather good. He looks like him in your style and not your generic male with his features slapped on (which alot artists suffer from).

I only bumped my own topic. The Neo's artblock one. Thats not the same as bumping others topics.
