Looking good, especially the skin. I'd suggest - and I'm looking at the trousers when I'm saying this - to use the smudge tool only for blending instead of using it for 'shaping' your shades (if you really need to use the smudge tool at all; it gives that typical bent-lines look).

I'd say it's the best I've seen you do too! I'm not sure if the nose works right. The shading seems to suggest the head should be tilted up more. So maybe it'd look a little better if the nose was indicaded by a smaller shadow or a sort of triangular 'blip'! The lips and eyes are cool tho.

Thanks guys. I haven't got the hang of anything except the soft airbrush so far unfortunately. I think I messed up my brush settings rather badly and also installed and nightmarish number of plugins when I didn't know any better. I use the smudge tool too much too and my pencilling is so messy I ink it with the polygonal lasso

gonna convert girls from harpers and queen into manga until im as good as bomu. hope I live to be old lol
