A good way of drawing in Illustrator is to do a rough on paper first, scan it in and then use Illustrator to clean up the image.Do yourself a favour and try this, maybe you find that you like it better that way, maybe you don't but do try it. Here I my comments: you choice of colours are really good except for the back of her cloak (the little snip between her left leg and the front of the cloak. It would be better if it was darker not ligther than the front bit. It gives a better sense of depth. You might want to do some highlight on the sword handle as well, eventhough it would look like that in real world. Sometimes it helps a drawing with some fake highlights to bring out details like that. The face is normally the hardest part but I think the face has a good symmetry and a good expression, the hair seems to be pushed to one side though. Now the bad stuff, The feathers in the wings are wrong, you might want to look at some photos of wings to help you get those right. Her foot should be turned to it goes flat with the ground and finally the front of her cloak is too straight, it looks like a plate instead of something soft that folds. You need to pratice but so do we all and for a first attempt this is really REALLY promising :-) I am looking forward to seeing more
