Well that nearly did me in. Was doing that gradient shading thing. I think its quite cool. Still gotta use a fair amount of airbrush though

wow!that is that gradient shading technique? cool. May I ask why you used it instead of the airbrush? Did you find it to be faster? Are you lacking one of those tablets? (like me)or just trying something new? It came out great! my favorite parts would be the sword and the cape.

Wow looks like that gradient shading worked wonders. Slight inconsistency on her right leg - the highlight would be dulled a little bit to indicate the shadow being cast by the other leg, judging from the lighting angle you used. Otherwise, a nicely CG'd pic.

I used a combination of the gradient technique and airbrush - about 50-50. It has pretty good results though, wait till you see my resident evil pic cg'ed! (that is if I ever finish it). I would say it takes a while longer this way though - although it may just be that I am making more detailed lineart these days
