Layout and interface redesign of the existing site- It's a phone analysis company, so I naturally went for a phone theme (but had to keep to the existing colour scheme). Blue display based on Giam's web spider portal thingy I helpped with And here's beginings of it all in Flash. Unfortuanetly the client hated what I did, so it looks like I'll never get to complete the finished Flash version

But I have a question! how do you find your clients or what do you do to make them find you? I'm still lacking the knowledge of the freelance industry and the only way to know is to ask a pro (woa it rhymes XB)

yup they look all very cool have to agree the second motorcycle page is the best version.

and I like the james bond thing but could you do it with a guy instead (just wanna make sure that it is the design I like ).

For the signum site you tell me that a site that was inspired or atleast has a little bit to do with (just a little tiny bit please!) something I made got rejected...

Shirai, The company I work for gets me the clients, so I don't have to worry about it ^_^ I've only been working at my new job for little over a month, but I'm enjoying the work and don't have to stress about finding my own clients.
However, before I got this job, I'd get regular commissions just from people that visit my web site! I'm pretty high up in the Yahoo search engine for "anime artwork" and "anime fanart" so I suppose when a company needs some anime visuals for one of their projects, I was never too hard to find
SO; my advice is to build the best web site you've ever seen, put up some of the best artwork you've ever done and advertise!

Ok enough, and yes the permanent exposure to violent games and movies has changed me, but the difference is my parents teached me how I have to deal with it.

It can be very hard to come up with an imaginative idea, as you said, to use in Flash. I think that it probably surrounds any prior experience with HTML. Designing things for Flash and HTML can be so different at times, and on many occasions this is simply due to the fact that the programs/coding lanuages are so different themselves... which is probably why I'll never be fluent in HTML, or even be able to make more than a half-decent page in DreamWeaver.

with the honda dealer layouts, the best one IMO is the first, cuz its clean and it doesnt have the red logo, which creates an unpleasant contrast. to improve the first i would suggest adding a gradient or too instead of a flat color fill, and possibly something to bring out the logos better, maybe a drop shadow or something.

the signum layout is ok, i would suggest doin something with that really light techy bg. maybe makin that a slightly different color, and a flat fill or gradient. its too visually stimulating to have a "zoom-blurred" image as the bg.

and the agent REPOS, i think its fine. gj on that one.

the LinuxInKent, the bg behind the text space is too confusing. its great behind the nav bar, but there it just doesnt look too good.

sentient, Thanks for the C&C. I agree on a lot of the points mentioned. Unfortuanetly half the time I'm being forced to make changed which I don't think are for the better.. I guess everyone has thier own tastes. Checked out some of your work - looking very nice too

Heh, cheers slumdog. It's cool to know you know the place! Honda's "Colours" are specifically Black, White Red and Grey, so had to use those. Even though I gotta admit I'm not too fond of the latest Chambers creation they got me doing, but I can see what you mean.

Actuly I like the new font for the agent repos better it is just too tall in my opinion.

At the moment something like 90% of browsers are Microsoft's IE, so using MS code that only works on MS stuff isn't a major issue

... but AOL are changing back to Netscape which will increase users.

YF, you've used the wrong practise, it should be with a c. Generally IT has no fullstops. Email isn't hyphenated.

Other than that it's all fine and dandy.
