Well some of the details are a bit half arsed cos I picked (and didn't entirely stick to) a slightly crazy lighting system.

tools: pencils, ink and photoshop

Every once in a while a picture with suck me in and it feels like I am there... This piece is one of them. I think I might have looked at it as long as it took to make it. lol. I like so much about it, the zombie like creatures that seem to be flooding the entire picture is an awsome added bonus. The metal upper background is great, the top panels in my book, are flawless! The wounds on the creature's chest are very nicely done. The gun blast I think could be done differently. I know you have the ability by looking at the sparks coming from the wire. Something like that from the barrel would kick butt.
Excellent job! I will show it to my wife when she comes home. She and I are pretty big fans of your work already.

thanks very much! Im glad you like it. it took some time lol, though I kinda rushed the zombies which is a bit of a shame. The gun blast basically stayed like that purely because the lineart was on multiply so I couldn't change the colour of the lines easily enough to satisfy my laziness. also Im not great at gun blasts ( or drawing guns) I normally stick to fireballs the sparks are simple triangular selections filled yellow with an 'outer glow' applied (laziness again)

Looks great- well done dude! The rendering and lighting on the main monster is great!
I can see the zomibies have been rushed- one thing I would change for example is the yellow hair. The rest of the pic's colours are darker, yet two zombies have this bright yellow hair which looks like it's practically glowing.

Considering little things can sometimes make big impacts to the overall.

Dude, that's a really awesome pic. I see what you meant about the zmobies being rushed, but I guess you can't help it much if you're on a clock. How long have you been CGing for anyway?

WOW! gooders.

I'll be sure to post it up on the site soon, did u want to add any comments and junk ?

also I have a question on cging when it's in photo shop and u go to channels to delete the white background of the paper, how do u make it so the lines remain dark on the drawing, when ever i delete the white bgroung the lines turn a little tranzpartent and if i want them to be darker they ended up becoming really thick and scratchy looking.
i need some help.

thks guys

Bomu: your right about the hair, I was kinda losing momentum by that stage, and I was really bored of trying to find different colour schemes for all the zombies. I even considered deleting them lol, but then there would have been too much empty space. I seem to be really nailing myself by making really detailed lineart these days. wait till you guys see my christmas card!

Angelo: Ive been drawing about 18 months, cging for about a year. I seem to improve fairly fast, I can't even bear to look at pictures I did 6 months ago lol

Tri: Don't need any comments on the site. used pencils, ink and photoshop if ya wanna stick that down

I normally put my lineart on multiply. With the other method, however, you can sometimes get your lines darker by locking transparency and going over it with a black brush. also theres the levels thing. The technique works best if you have inked your lines very thoroughly indeed, otherwise it isn't that successful.

Ezekiel 25:17

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

I love the picture too man. Great colours, love all the details, I never have the patience for a big piece like this, well done I agree with Bomu about the hair, if you come to a section that you don't want to take time over, have a rest and then come back to it refreshed, thats what I do. The little touches do make a difference! Great Stuff!
