Could be improved with neater lines and colouring within the lines. Also if your cell shading it might be better if you used the polygon lasso tool and fill tool to add the highlight and shadows. I havent cell shaded anything in so long that my only example is one of the first pictures I ever cg'ed - and its one of bomu's! Anyway, This might at least illustrate my point, though my colouring isn't good enough at this stage to be called an 'example'. Incidentally, cell shading those pipes was one of the activities the persuaded me brushes were the way to go!
some of the edges are a bit jagged but that can be improved with the smudge tool.

some1 on deviant art apparently failed to understand I didn't do the lineart, so I feel it is only fair a transfer his comment here for bomu's ego:
quote: holy fuck! please tell me how you smoothen this to the quality it is now! I mean, how do you get the lineart so tight? but anyway... after seeing this I know I've got some work in progress to do

Jats i like the CG job good one !
o and cloud, keep at it. I was 13 when i really started focesing on art, so no worries, you'll get there !
I'd suggest work on lines, and coloring in the lines, o and if ur going to shade i find setting the flow of the air brush to 10% gives it a nice look! i think bomu had that in his tutorial ? haven't read it 4 awhile hehe!.

whats good is that its a loose style which means you will have flare when you refine your art and will be able to bend the rules of perspective and add your own orriginality to your art.
