Well i never watched "akira" so i can't really cric on that, but i can say the is quite good 4 a 2nd try at CG, know u can learn/tune the finer parts of CGing. best 2 u mate!

It's a pretty good attempt but I do wonder if there's a particular reason why Kaneda's dressed in Yellow and why he's carrying daggers/cutlass'!

Hehe maybe it's a re-imagining? (Or perhaps his lasergun batteries ran out of rechargeability). The cel-shading's pretty cool in this. Perhaps you ought to make the shadows a little darker, to make them stand out better. The body seems to look OK as well, legs might be a LITTLE long, but not much. Great pic mate, hope to see more from you.
