anyone remember me?..or um....anyone I knew still around o_o

hi hi hi, you can call me Cindy if you like. I joined like what...5 million years ago I think? Do I even have a working avatar up o_O;

anyhoot! for those who dont know me or dont remember me, im your local Akira fanatic! Owner of the Harukiya Bar. But most of my art is fantasy. Here is my most recent painting titled 'Farewell'. The creature is Evema, medium is acrylic on panel!

im gonna try to go to DragonCon this year

Wow very nice! Im always somewhat in awe of people who paint in acrylic. I have a small array of small lead figurines from my childhood on my desk in front of me which remind me I can't do it! Very inventive creature. Half bird half horse? Anyway, obviously can't comment on anatomy and the colours are marvelous so ill just say 'good job!'

I particularly like the way youve done the lighting.

i also have to say wow, the best part i like is the all the landscape stuff i love it and the colors are very nice too. its all blends and also that you actually painted it wow wow... i also like the dragon creature

this picture was fun!,when it was loading it was only showing a little at a time , so at first i thought it was a persons head then i thought it was a horse then i was confused, great pictures and such, i really like it. Great work

What brings you back to this quiet, dank little corner of the internet we call the OM forums?

I should probably know, but what's DragonCon all about? I guess it's a convention to do with dragons or fantasy type stuff?

lol beastial horse type thingumy acrylics rule iv'e been using them a lot for some landscape paintings i've been working on i'll post them if anyones intersted? yeah i'm lovin the colouring style coz it's really hard to master blending with them

thanks for the comments! what brought me back bomu? it was an email you sent not to long ago to all the members - something about the forum

and then I was like "OMG! SHAME ON ME! I FORGOT ALL ABOUT THAT FORUM!"

and I just thought it would be fun again. though by the looks of it i dont recognize any of the active people here XD

oh..and DragonCon is the largest Fantasy, Sci-fi Art convention in the world! an estimate of 20,000 people are there each year! it attracts many many buyers who like the genre >=3 *though I doubt ill be selling anything*

DragonCon is in the fall, but artists have to join in the spring

- Wow big artist con! sounds pretty good. I've been meaning to check out some of the anime cons they have over here in the UK- On the whole, I'm not sure it's really my sorta thing, but should at least test out a few.

Woah, kaori, it's been a while! What you been doing for god-knows-how-long? In any case, it's great to have you back! Anyways, this pic is quite something, the shading is done really nicely, and I really like the way you did the sun in the background.
