I like the whole dynamic thing behind it. Only little problem is the face is a bit squashed. Just lengthen the nose, lower the mouth etc. to un-squash it. Good pic nonetheless.

I haven't posted on all of your threads, but I think I have looked at all of them. I think you are clearly getting a knack for drawing figures in various poses, and its good to see you are not falling into the trap of drawing the same angle or pose over and over again. However, if you really want to improve, and receive useful critiques on your work, you have to start expanding your themes, and the techniques you are studying.

Your pictures are on the right track, but they all share exactly the same shortcomings, and so it is difficult to come up with specific advice for each one. But I am going to try and give you some honest, general, and hopefully helpful advice:

Theme and lineart: Don't only practice drawing DBZ type anime characters. I do not believe you can become good at drawing anime by copying other anime styles. You have to be a good life artist, and then apply anime rules to your drawings. The way mouths, eyes and noses are drawn in cartoons do not look like the real things, they are just symbols, you have to be able to draw real ones, and then you can reduce them into symbols of your own, which is the way you will end up with elegant, flowing lineart in your own style. Also, do not just draw characters in robes, or muscley heroes. draw fat people, short people and skinny people as well, and try and give them inventive clothing and bracelets and other accessories, that help set your character apart from the blank canvas anime form templates found all over the internet on drawing tutorials. Draw scenery, and animals and monsters and people of all ages, and go to museums and draw accessories from all cultures. This will give you ideas when you draw youre own stuff from scratch. Anatomy could also use some work, and is almost NEVER perfect in any artist. Hogarth is a good person to learn from though. Also try drawing in 1 point, 2 point, and 3 point perspective, it gives you a good idea of the 3d nature of the forms, and hogarth is always going on about representing 'in deep space'

CG: cell shading, like anime, is a simplification, and doing it over and over leads to no real improvement. Expand your knowledge of photoshop, learn how to make textures, and pictures with multiple light sources, airbrushing etc. If you practice these things until you can make a photorealistic picture and then afterward do a cg with cell shading, the result will be a lot better than if you do the same technique over and over again for the same amnount of time.

we want to see your art, but if they are 10 pictures all using the same techniques and basic subject, it might be neater to put them all in one thread - we'll still look at them all and give you our opinions.

Hope this helps

very nice there, umm don't know if it had been mentioned before or not, the head is a bit squished, maybe to overpowered by the hair? but you are getting a better handle on anatomy and figure, and all those wonderful things. ^.^ good job so far, like the watercolor and cellshade look, very nice, different!

Great pic really like it

Just a couple of things i have noticed with it...

The eye looks a bit loo long, the hair doesn't really go with the rest of the picture in shading style (if that was intentinal ignore me ) hmmm actually maybe thats not right it does kinda go with the style but the colour change is too drastic imo so i would either change the colours to be more similar in shade or add extra steps between the colours. Finally if he is diving towards us shouldnt his hair be flowing back not out (okay he could be using some sort of sytling product!) and the same with the necklace if es diving forwards wouldnt the necklace be against his body?
