Hello! I'm new here, although some of you may know me (Hi Jats) from across the net. Here are some concepts I did at great speed today, whilst trying to avoid doing any real work!

Any feedback would be groovy.

hehe hey man nice to see you on these boards. Is this a char for your comic? I think she's looking good. Although to me she looks a little different in the big b&w sketch and the full body one around the eyes a forehead, but maybe thats just cos its a speedy drawing. Also Im not sure about the multicoloured bits on her fringe, looks like she's had a bubble gum accident or something lol.

As usual nothing really going wrong though. Hows Daedalus going? I haven't been there in a while, Im hoping there'll be lots of new pages for me to read when I do!

err, no this is a character from a currently non-existant comic. Not mine. As for the hair, that was part of the character outline- but yeah, I probably could've done it better! Daedalus is going badly at the moment, I've been working lately and moving house etc. grr.

PS: Eroc, real work = drawing comics for people that pay me (sometimes!) so it's not that much of a drag

Yup that's looking pretty great to me, nice work!

On the close up the right (our right) eye could be moved a little more to the right, as it makes the face seem a bit squashed (that was my first impression).

But I really love the full body character, especially the colouring and I'm fond of those blue highlights.

Yeah, was pleased with those highlights. It's a way of colouring I really like. Flat cell colour with a colour dodge whacked on top. Ta

Yeah, but I'm also really poor. It's not really possible to make a living just drawing comics nowadays. I, like most people, am an illustrator too.

Ezekiel 25:17

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

Err... I like the CG, but the chick on the right is acting real... wierd. It kinda looks like her head got stretched out and she's really excited about it.
