nice i like it, it think you put just a little more detail into it like add some highlights to the hair and eyes. Also draw that right line to finish her right shoulder and shade her neck more and maybe add some neck lines.

Flipping a picture is not going to help you. If you don't address the problem, it isn't going to fix itself. Just keep it in mind in the future.

It wasn't really the hair I was meaning it was the face. Have you ever seen Jullie Dillon's tutorials?

That's the one, I found her head drawing ones really useful. Mind you couldn't draw circles or ovals if my life depended on it...
but it's easier to get started and alligning eyes and things.

when colouring, always use a more saturated shadow colour, and never use the burn tool in photoshop. This is especially obvious on skintones, and If your darker tones are too desaturated they will look like mud or facial hair. hope that helped a little. ~Dr.Funkenstein~

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

Okay, perhaps I didn't explain myself properly. What i'm talking about is raising the saturation of your darker colours. Tone is the movement of colour between light and dark, whereas saturation is the movement of colour between strong and weak. Without a big enough difference between the saturation of your darker tones and that of your highlights your image will turn muddy. With better saturation difference your colour can become much more vibrant and illustrate a 3d shape better.
Sorry if my original post was confusing. ~Dr.Funkenstein~

i've noticed some of your artwork, like they said, the key is practice, practice, practice. you can be good on colours, i like the way you did the eyes for you pictures in way of colours. but mind the form though, dont you think its too "manga"

lmao evilone you were just rude to funkenstein.
funkenstein being probably the best artist on this site you muppet.
when he says colours should stay saturated and not become muddy he means when you go on the colour picker don't just go downwards and make the skin darker he means make it more deeper and richer and just a tad darker.
also i would say that skin ussualy goes a quite blue colour when in shade but meh i am trippy tom.
funkenstein: waaah no to the freckles thats some bad ass stuff.
