Dodge tool lightens up the colour you rub it over, the more you rub it over a colour, the whiter and brighter it gets.

Ezekiel 25:17

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

Thanks everyone!
The dodge tool is a cheat. It adds light to something and is used by many many comic book artists nowadays. If you want to make artwork look like "Battle Chasers" use a colour dodge. I actually don't use the tool itself, but make a new layer- set it to colour dodge- and fill a selection with a colour that will allow me to arrive at the highlight I want. If you wanna see [i]flawless['i] colour dodging then check out applegeeks.
