This should probably go in the quick art thread, but I wanted to know if anyone had any preferences on these 3 colour versions? Also, any comments on the style? Wanted to try out some big eye / small mouth stuff.

Liking them but the blue one looks a bit washed out, if you get what I mean. The Big eyes small mouth thing isnt really working for me perhaps the eyes are just too big! Hmmm or maybe its just the left eye (thats our left) perhaps a little bit too much "white" on the bottom left.

Back to the question you asked though i like the first two best! if i had to choose betweeen them i would probably go for the greyscale.

Personally, I hate big eye, small mouth style. I mean, Is that a nose or an unfourtunate blemish? However that's just me.
I preffer the black and white one, but i'd make the lips darker, so she looks a little more femme fatale. She could also do with a little reflected light, (or cold secondary light) on the side of her chin.

a thin sliver of light on the opposite side from the main light source. "cold" refering to the hue of the colour, since the light hitting her face is quite warm.

Cheers v. much for the comments guys. I always manage to fail at a decent 'BESM' style, so should probably stick to something less stylized.. or just learn to do it properly!

Cool pictures, I like the top one best myself. I think you made her look to mature for that style though, with the full lips and eye shadow.

well, I didn't mean to be rude, but hey, we all know Mr. Bomu can draw a nose when he wants to. It's just a style thing.
I totally agree with Zankouken! That's a really good point. Are big eye manga characters ever anything but really young girls?
