A portrait of a couple of friends. Quite pleased with it, though I got bored towards the end, so some bits are better finshed than others

Looks great finished The eyes especially are fantastic. Perhaps bringing their hair lines down a touch would look a bit better. The girl on the right's arm/armpit could do with the tones being blended in a bit more- I guess this was where you started to get a bit lazy? Nice folds too

Hehe Kate ain't too bad . Almost mistook it for a real photo myself, this is pretty good work. Only thing that bothers me is the hair, looks a little too rigid around the borders - just add the occasional bump, to make it a bit more 3-dimensional, rather than it being a little flat. No big deal anyway, it's certainly pretty good as far as it goes.

Damn good one Jats! That's some fine stuff we get to see from you, I see some good improvements here. Heh, visiting CGtalk alot now I take it?

Looks to me you're pushing for that life like feel now. Love the detail on Kate particular her Ears/Eyes. I like the shading you done on the blouses too good look to them. The hair is well done, and it's nice to see the hair more defined like that. I'd like to probably see a tad more difference in the hair colors/highlights unless they are sisters or use the same hair color.

I like the highlights but I think there is a bit too much to Kate's nose as it runs the whole way down. I believe just a color tone down and a notch so much on the tip would be more appealing.

Hmm, I find their smiles would look lovelier if you keep their teeth more drawn a touch inward. Also maybe show some of their bottom teeth too it looks to me like they are biting their lip a little heh. Maybe, it's cause they were looking to get a piece of you. Feisty friends!

Finally, I think you should smooth around Kate's neck just nearly below were the ear follows into her jaw on the left of the picture just under a little finger width. Since, I find her face is turned towards us it would look more pleasant and draw people to her smile easily.

Looking good, impressed to see what's next.
