A flyer for a rave in the dec 24 that Im working on. still gotta do a flip side and all the info lettering

Let me know what you think, I am unsure of some bits. Am pleased with how the girl turned out though.

The guy in the hat is a pic of one of the DJ's, Nicky Blackmarket.

Hey man, although I'm not too fond of the actual lay-out & design, I love the artwork. Looks photorealistic - apart from the fluffy x-mas stuff, it's a bit too white to be real

Oh and update your banner, perhaps, it doesn't really give a right impression of your current skills

What did I say about not using green? Looking great so far. As far as the layout goes, it might have been an idea to thumbnail out a few ideas, and showing where to text info is gonna go.
Do you know where the text is going?
I'd also reccomend checking out google for other's flyer designs. I did this as research after having to do a fyler for a recent college project and it helps to see how others have structured their flyers.

Changed it a bit. Which colour scheme do you prefer?

I'd say the top smoked/ grey-looking one looks best. The blue is next in line.

The header type is looking better too- the first 'Bassworkz' header blended in too much with the boarder. In fact, trying a more vibrant colour for the title (Red, Orange, Purple.. even Green could work with the new BG) rather than grey/silver) might be an idea. It may work best as it is, but wouldn't hurt to add in some brighter colour if you wanted to make it stand out a bit more.

Ezekiel 25:17

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

Good pose from your girlfriend.

I agree with all said above, layout looking much better too. The 1st one was just too much of a eyesore with all those tiny thin strains off the snowflakes then that big hit of color behind them stings your eyes.

I was about to suggest adding in a light source like you just added. That would be cool if you really made it pop out more 3D; it would really draw your eyes quickly their specially if you add the text over him. But, if you plan putting the text over the girl dump that thought. The radial tail lines off the light might be a tad stiff, I'd say soften them a touch.

Love the art here too, just a few points that are messed up. Guess no one wanted to say but that guy's arm on the right were it goes into his elbow is fractured looking.. MEDIC!!
(just need to bring it in more couple other ways will work)

I'd probably move the DJ stand back down and up more into his hand's perspective. Although, that does look better placed there near the girl.

Really love the hair their, that soft feather brush on her first hair flick going back is awesome.

The other thing that is a bit off is the model's hand. It's slightly oversized I believe, didn't really notice cause of that boarder before. Keep the knuckle in align to her hand so it's not so jolted out and cut around the area on the outside of her thumb more were it meets her wrist. With that said, also you should really have a elongated feel in her arm. The stroke below on her arm is way too sharp turned I'd say just give it a little more curves. (rounded feel) This will make her look more sexy!

Probably no one noticed eyeing your hot model there, but I'd fix the guys arm at least.

For the colour schemes thing, I'm a bit split on this one. The blue one appeals to me, because it's chilled out, but you mentioned it's a rave, so the red one might be a better bet, because it's more energetic.
The girl's hair is done really nicely in this one, you really made it look realistic. I'd second Bugsy's suggestion about the fluffy bits on her xmas costume, it looks a bit too bright. Nevertheless, nice work with the flyer, it's really looking great here.

*Err* Wrong word there, I meant to say give her inner (under arm) parts a more cushiony feel; damn not rounded blah. It just would've helped shine her sexiness more throughout her body and to her face. I should've corrected that awhile ago if it helps any. It was probably just a tad underlooked, but try to keep the under/limb parts more swishy if your going for sex appeal. It's just don't go overboard on realistic now.

You're coming a good way into faces now. I'll add on that girls face is very smooth and defined, good job their too. Your digital painting ability is really progressing to pull off such a clean hit of appearance in faces. The guy sort of has some good play intent going on too.

I hope that we get to see some Anime/Manga stuff from you up ahead or Fantasy whichever your going on too. Maybe, you'll try some cool D&D (dungeons & dragons) type Fantasy? *ponders* I enjoy them both curious to see what type of Anime appeal you'll be doing now tho.

I' would go with the second colorversion (the red one) the blue one is way too busy with all the different colors in my eyes, and the gray one is giving too much focus on the girl in my eyes, and kills the titel.

Also I would give the writing and the girl a dropshadow to give it a bit more depth (so you get a nice foreground background thingy)

otherwise what everyone else said great work Jats.
