my scanner arrived so im putting up this initial ideas picture ive done for my coursework shes a snow boarder well shes gonna be so any ideas for different hair colours anything u think i could develope i wanna know about it

I think she might look cool with silver hair, just a thought

Maybe experiment with colour depth more, be daring with it. You won't always get it right but the more you do it the better feel you'll get for it. Take a lower opacity brush and build up your shadows, if you're not sure what colours to pick, take a look at some of your favourite art and steal their colours

I really like that angle btw, she's looking good Maybe she needs a snowboard or somethin'

i also like the angle. All in all I think it s a pretty god job, but I would work on the skin tones. skin has a variety of browns, pinks and yellows that should all be included to give a rich looking render. try importing a pic into photoshop and using the colour picker to learn what these colours are like. eventually you'll get the hang of it, and won't need to do that anymore . needs more contrast basically. and the clothes could do with some subtle highlights. looks a bit dark and murky at the moment.

I second Jats and KaiserD, especially for the hair, whic looks kinda lifeless at the moment, but at least your light source is defined. Good luck with the project .
