This is a character from a creator owned project I'm working on. I'm just nailing down her look right now. Crits and comments are vurra nice. Penciled on paper, inked in OpenCanvas 1.1, and colored in Photoshop for those who care.

I think these charcters are really good. I especially like Mike, he's very adorable.
I was just wondering why you coloured Jax so richly as compared to Mike who is coloured very subtlely? Is there a reason for that? I think the more subtle really suit Mike because it gives a kind of childish feel to the picture.

Good work, dude!

Thanks! The colors on Mike are temporary. I needed to do a watercolor sample for another possible gig and I had just finished drawing Mike, so I just used what I had available. I'll be going back later and coloring everything in the same style.

Good stuff you got going there EraserX. I remember the Bubble scrub T-shirt that you used on them quite a good time ago and the Klondikish bar looking panda heh. I take it you're finally recovering from the child birth? I know you just dusted these off again, I can recall some of the comments way back that some gave you a year or so back.

The inks are good, very fluent looking and just enough width/variation in the right amounts to keep your eye entertained. Color wise, if I had to pick I'd say the watercolor style you have brewing here looks better than the hard light coloring. It just seems the Watercolor really goes with the lines but I'd imagine you can make them better colored with some of your recent coloring methods.

I write your initials on my arm. Didn't feel pain, but saw the harm. I miss you now, Rolling down my cheek a tear. I love you. Why can't you love me too? I blame myself for that. I love you... that's a fact. I LOVE YOU. I love you alot but I cry on the spot at the thought that you don't love me.
