Some of the stuff I can't do or can't do well are:

-hands, feets, and such.

-the whole body, from head to toe. Torsos are fine but, the whole body...pphhtttt....

-can't CG at all!!

-inking.....I'm okay at it, but I can do a lot better if I praticed harder.

-perspective

-objects like furniture, cars, planes, pretty well every object except for clothing.

Hmmm? Im TOO good looking, my teeth are way too white, im too good looking, im too smart ummm, im not self absorbed enough...

err.... day dreaming again!

To name a few:

-When I draw somthing I can't make the finished product turn out like it was in my head, not even close.
-My work looks way better right after I finish it, then I hold it up and look at it its shit!
- Im WAY too messy, way to many mistakes.
- I CANNOT do a self portraite. I keep trying, im even cheating and its not working!!
- I make the same mistakes over and over again, why can't I learn the first time? even when I know what im doing wrong, OVER AND OVER AND OVER.

As punishment for my fualts im now out of sktechbooks and can't draw till I get more.

- too critical of my work???
- can't churn out poses easily, i usually take ages to find one i am satisfied with...
- don't like feet
- anything but anime style hair is difficult
- hate backgrounds!!! this is my biggest problem
- hmm, i don't draw females
either...probably because i am scared of peoples comments...i really want to though after checking out some image comics those chicks are insane!

Yeah the image chicks are INSANE!!!

They probably haven't slept on their stomuch since puberty. Huge ga zoom zooms!

And they can't run or they'll get two black eyes!

Yep, that's why I buy image.....

Oh when I was in Math class earlier this year, I was drawing Witchblade and my math teacher walked by, stopped and stared, then anounced loudly to the entire class, "Holy shit, shes got huge tits!!".......yep, thank you Mr.Math teacher.....

My anatomy and proportions are very weak (male and female), I definitely need to work on that. I also have trouble with correct values and effective edges in CGs.

Yeah, I got some fauts/flaws/bad stuff when it comes to my art >_<

- Pose ideas. Can never come up with dynamic enough poses and feel like a cheat if I source reference from other people's stuff.

- I don't have a consistant line art style, due to the fact I don't do artwork too often and each time I do it's 'cos I get inspired by someone else's style, which I try to imitate.

- Never satisfied with what I do

- Sometimes give up if things aren't going too well.

But there are solutions to your problems!

Can't CG? Most good artists cant! It's just a skill you need to learn, something you get better at with practice and knowing your graphics software and how to use it.

Don't understand perspective? Get a book out from the library which explains it. Ask yourself; Do I know and fully understand;
- 1 point perspective?
- 2 poin perspective?
- 3 point perspective?
- Isometric projection?
Can't rembemer any other types of projection, but there's more. We learned it all in graphics class, and although I sometime forget all about it, if I remind myself of what I learned in those classes, it really helps me out

*ends Ben's tip of the day*

(Still gonna move ths to Art Talk. I'm thinking, the catagories are there for a reason and anyone who's not an artists and visits the message board might not wanna read topics like this in a general discussion form. Trust me, compared to most forums I frequent, it's really not that busy!)

i don't think i have any faults

okay here's what's wrong with me:

-can never draw something like it is in my head, which really pisses me off.

-i can't draw anything without doing the eyes, mouth and face outline. my entire pic revolves around how well these start out.

-sometimes when trying ot do a male/female charcter they look like the opposite sex

-never really do manyu mel pics cos when i do a pic it has to interest me and ladies really interest me

-if a pic that starts off well and goes shoddy it ends up scribbled across in frustration

-it takes so many lines for me to draw down before i get a pose right which makes my work really messy.

-during cgying i sometimes draw a pic i like better and start cgying that and never finish the one before.

wow - that's allota faults
