Why dont we all produce a webcomic between us and post it on O.M?. Im sure we could make something good.

meh, i'm lazy...and remember the RPG character design thing had a few hiccups along the way too even though it was a relatively simple task..

That sounds like fun but could get too complicated. At my other board, we do have our own web comic ( http://www.otakurevolution.net/strip/ ) run by one guy. I'm sure he has his share of problems of working on it on his own too though.

Definetly something to consider for the future, when we're a few hundred members strong and have enough dedicated people wanting to take part!

The RPG chara thing didn't quite work since all it took was one person to break to rules, and it was all over. I'm kinda suprised we got as far as we did and I had great fun participating and checking out the finished characters - they were really funny, but cool at the same time since as far as I know, noone had tried that concept before on the web.. and to an extent, it worked!

I agree with Bomu here, we definitiv should keep it in mind (maybe for the boards second year

the RPG chara was kinda funny (except the delay :glare and I hope that it gets a second chance sometime.

And yes I still try to color all the completed charas (have other stuff first tho).

New forum activities would definitely be fun. But a webcomic might be too big for a small community like OM.

Maybe we can all brainstorm some smaller events, where we can all contribute, have fun, and improve on our art??

Right now I'm pointing to the Mspaint/Oekaki thread, hope more people can participate

I may not have access to a scanner but ill join in with just about any event/project u start. Count me in with whatever u begin. Bomu, im finishing one last pic b4 I send u my stuff. Should be done 2morrow.

Heres an idea, For a trial run of these style events and just 4 fun why not hold a single design a character event where anything goes as long as its ur own design?. If nothing else it should be fun.

And GIAM. Whats the translation of that german signature of yours?.

I have it from a Rpg a friend made.
It is one of the typical phrases of the sword fighter class I'm playing.

But when I first read it I was like dang, there is a universal truth in those words.

Funny thing is it is the only phrase he did'nt ripped from somewhere else .

I was interested in the Chara thing but It just proved too difficult for my skill level and my digital limitations. I drew like 4 sets of arms, but I just couldn't scan them the right size and had issues resizing them and lost quality. Felt like I let the drawing down and didn't want to do that again.

Webcomics might be better, as maybe each person can work on their own character, or have one person make a background, maybe one person make a storyline. Interlay it all together and then somone else can color it. Maybe make it more humourours than serious as it may be flawed and it would flow better then. But like before I feel my skills just let me down, I cannot draw exactly what I need or wan't to, so thats makes it hard to participate.
