on how earth do you paint trees!! half of my latest canvas painting is nothing but trees, overhead jungle views, and close ups

im not good with this area >__< does anyone know any good reference pics? any help?

i wasnt even sure what sorta tree to paint, the painting is tropical...so i was looking at a mango tree ^.^;

Well seems you allready have what you need right now.
But a good thing generaly would be looking around in your city for some nice trees.
Take a sketch book with you and/or a camera.

3dimensional references are allways the best.

ive also noticed that it is very helpful to bring your sketch book most places you go very helpful

well the other day i was doodling a tree while i was at schoolo___o

but it confused me so much @_____@! branches coming towards while going up, going far away..

too much 3D! all tress should be flat and simple


and the trees here are ugly! *kicks random tree*
