I like, came to this course thinking I was going to learn how to draw and stuff, (Anatomy, Form etc etc). but yeh. Our teacher is probably the worst tutor I've ever had, but I aint gonna go into that, but lets just say, she has her favouites and I'm not one of them.

Bieng completely honest, I would have left this course a long time ago, but I basically want a job in Art (twisting between Ideas of something more specific) and there is no other way of doing it that I can see.

My older brother did an Art foundation course and he was doing the same things, which put me off from going. I suppose they want you to just be creative and give the opportunity to work with different media.

Anyway, for the money, artschools aren't worth it generally. Maybe film schools, but I wouldn't recommend art schools. The lot of them are stuck in their archaic ways. It still can be useful, but it all depends on what you want to become good at. If you are trying to learn something you hate, it's gonna go the way of calculus in the 10th grade. Nobody knows your best interests better than you, so if you really want to become good, train yourself before plunking down some good bling whales. Just remember that these days, the best artists are almost never the most popular or the richest.

Besides, you are always going to have the war between the media artists and the fine artists. If you wanna' draw the anime/manga way, you are best learning off media arts. Learning all the fundamentals is important, but it's knowledge you can find in plenty of books from old dead people in a library. Pay for something new that you can't learn anywhere else is what I say.
