Well it's kinda depressing that school is starting but any ways some good came. today I went school shopping and I got this really cool set of Design Pencils

Sorry man I wouldn't know. I'm still using the box of 2H pencils I borrowed from school about 5 years ago.
Although to me 15$ for nine pencils seems pretty steep. It must be because of the case they are in eh?

? am happy with them , tho I think I might pick up some water color pencil crayons they had there to for 20$ (a really good set by the looks )

I use mechanical pencils only, but that is my brand for technical pens..... i think they are good

yes Staedler is a good brand.
They focus a bit more on the Design marked I think.
Personaly I prever Faber Castell (another german drawing tool maker) but its really just a matter of taste with these two companys I think.

Wow... I haven't held a conventional pencil for drawing in years.... I personally prefer Lead Holders to mechanical pencils and standard pencils because it combines the versatility of the stand pencil lead surface area with the convenience of a mechanical pencil... but man, those things are dangerous, you can impale your hand on them with surprising ease. I typically use Staedtler myself They seem to have a medium monopoly where I live.
