I need help on how to create digital bg and put it on a pic.
if anyone will do it try step by step

yep, i have the latest version of it PhotoShop 8
it's just confusing to follow it

Well I have PS 6 so I can only hope it is the same in this aspect. open the backgound. then open the character. drag it onto the background (this will copy it the on a separate layer. grab the magic eraser and click on the surroundin blank area around the character. then grab the move tool and position where you would like it. (only one of several ways to accomplish it)

PS 8 is great! bought the $850 sucker with my allowance money from 6 years. photoshop CS!
