As some of you may have already noticed, I've recently just finished a 7 page PhotoShop CGing tutorial at: www.organicmetal.co.uk/techniques.htm (starting at tutorial 1, finishing at 8) and it'd be great to have some feedback- especially from those not too familiar with CGing. Did you find and parts useful? Confussing? Too detailed? Not detailed enough?

Hope it helps some of you out- that's what it's for!

Unfortunately, I'm rather well versed in Photoshop, (although it's always nice to have a new tutorial as I still learn new stuff or get a re-inforcement of things I already know) so I can't give you a newcomers perspective, but it seems to be good; well laid out, well explained, not too complex, and not overly simplified. Certainly seems like a good introductory point for people.

It is a very well made tutorial Bomu. though, I still seem to have some dificulty following it...I am wondering if it could be we are not using the same photoshop version? I'm using php7, but still I am not sure...More than likely it could just be me not reading it correctly.

Thanks. and yes, I mentioned on tutorial 1 I used PhotoShop 6 for these- I probably need to make it more clear! I'm using PhotoShop 7 now too but I'd rather work on a new tutorial altogether than update the same one each year. Seem whenever I make a software tutorial, they go and bring out a new version 4 weeks later!
The main difference is probably using the brushes- where you need to set the 'flow' amount rather than the opacity amount of a brush to get the gradual airbrush effect.
