I Just made a website today a few minutes ago and can somebody give me any tips becaust this is my first time.Many thanks (domo arigratou)!

keep it simple! That is the single most important thing in web design.

Other than that you have to be a bit more specific. What is your website address (url)?

One mistake that many begginers make is to go mad on colours! Keep the amount of colours your site has to a minimum or use different tones of the same colour to give the site more of a thme- like I did with OM and it's golden colour scheme.

Dont use colours that clash- e.g green text on red background. Dont use those standard web colours such as lime green! Go for newtrual colours. Also make sure it's easy to read

However if you've made the site already and it's on your hard drive, you might want to upload it to a web server so the world can see it. Many people including myself start somewhere like geocities.com - it exaplins the processes you need to go through to get your site on the web and wotnot.

Well if it is your first site i would stick to a wucwug (what u c what u get) site builder like geocities and then if you still think u want a realy great web site like this once you can start to read readme files on HTML(hyper text marketing language) pretty simple ,then there are ccs sheets, some people even use flash as there whole web site! there are tons to ways to make websites and for tips find a subject research then make a plan on paper:P then fo thoughe on one the methods like HTML,PHP,Flash(and if you really want a great looking website fast and your not good at php/html spend about $300 on DreamWeaver great program for making websites.

Err, those geocities templates are butt-ugly

Imo, it's better to have no site for a while and wait till you can make something more decent yourself. If you loose visitors by making a bad impression it's hard to get them back.

I know this is going to sound completely retarded but i agree with u bugsy(after i just said to go on geo cities

) But i said that just so the people make websites for the first time get some experience with website development(geocities may not be the the center core of learning website building)But this is were u learn basics like main page msg boards ext.. and i highly doubt some is just going to jump on to the internet and start typing pages of HTML(not saying no one does i did hehehe[I went to computer camp,... ok u can laghe now ^_^!])

And if your good a html i found Angelcitis.com & brinkster a quite good for host but i would suggest going to cjb.net to get a shortcut address well i hope that cleared things up ^_^! he... he ya i know your all still yucking about computer camp*lowers head in shame*

I had a look at your gallery, and I think the artwork there is very good. Took me a while to find out where to click to get into the website from the intro page, but maybe Im just stupid

I think your art is striking, varied and inventive. However I noticed that the colour choices on the cgs often look a bit 'muddy'. try experimenting with bolder colours and with more contrast in your rendering, and i think it could be greatly improved.
