It seems that me scanning something in set as 'greyscale' means i cant use colours to paint on it, its not letting me change colour to red or something with the paint tool....what the hell is this?! ive never had this problem before and i always scan drawings in greyscale...anyone know how to fix it?

i just scanned it using the 'true colour' option or whatever its called and theres no problem, its letting me use colours to paint again its onyl happening with greyscale

lol hello? you go to IMAGE>MODE>RGB and you paint nicely in color and u scan nicely in grayscale. got it?

hehe i had the same problem, but then i checked the FAQ most asked questions and found the tip.
