when i make a stroke, because im using the mouse it isn't the most accurate way to ink, so its always a little or a lot off where i want the stroke to be...so when i get the direct selection tool to grab onto the anchor points and move it into place...it just wants to move the whole line and when i click and drag like people say...it moves the whole damn image ive fluked it a couple times and managed to drag the point but i dont understand how i did it, any help here would be cool plz

Sorry! I've been away for a few days

Okay then, when you say the Direct Selection tool you mean the white arrow right? My guess is that it's under Group Selection mode instead, which has almost the exact same icon, except with a + symbol next to it. Direct selection normally can single out anchors every time, but group selection selects every anchor along a single path. All you have to do to switch back to normal Direct Selection is click hold over the white arrow on the tool bar and select the original white arrow without the plus, and that should do the trick.
