Actually Windows XP doesn't even have real blue screesn anymore as in Win98. The only time you get a "blue screen" is when there's a hardware error. Like in my case, the only time I had one, was with wrong drivers for my video card. And a mate of mine has trouble all the time, but he refuses to install Anti-Virus and Firewall software. "Being careful" with mails and sites these days, is the digital version of Coitus Interruptus  So yeah, I think you're having hardware conflicts, like Webb suggested.edit: btw, i'm not saying WinXP is flawless, every windows is a buggy pile of **** compared to some other operating systems (alas linux is very non-userfriendly, but MacOS is better), I'm just stating WinXP is the most stable release so far.
