dude, dont pay for it just try and find someone who already has it or already has a burnt copy of it. I had a friend who went to a art school and i think he made a copy of it there then gave it to me. You can also dl it form like kazza or some file share site but watch out cause it might mess up your computer and only do it if you have a fast internet speed. someone elese here might have a better idea though.

As far as I'm aware, Photoshop Elements is actually pretty good and has most if not all of the features that we as artists would need. Photoshop is aimed at photos, after all!

I'm thinking of buying it myself, for legit reasons. I want to start taking commissions and I'd rather not run the risk of being caught with illegal software.

Try your local library, if they don't have a book on photoshop elements, find one on amazon and ask them to get it.

Yes yes true, but the difference is if you're not making any money you get a slap on the wrist. If you're making money, especially if you're making more than a bit you've got a veeery hefty bill and a court case on your hands. Not the best start to business is it
