I think it would be realy cool if every one on the fourm or at least some people got together and all worked on a project. Any body got ideas, i think it would be cool.

We could all draw a representation of ourselves, then cut and paste the images into an "Organic Metal Members Desktop Wallpaper"!

mmm that sounds like fun am in!, but what did u have in mind ? we all do characters and scan,clean and send em to who ever is doing the coloring ? since I don't get photo shop and i really really don't want to use ms paint.

It would be ok... if everyone scanned/worked on 300dpi then one person gets all the files and could resize each representation to be roughly the same size.

As long as they are not on the background layer cause it would be hell extracting them

not bad, but i was think for something more a less.. mmm like u see on the top left hand how bomu has kinda the plasma system letters, and box cubes going on. "kinda a natural factory look, o i don't know an organic metal look?" and it would be more of... bomu's job i think to come up with a top notch bg. but nice none the less.

- Ok

In that case, how about some structure...

* Draw a self portrait or representation of yourself for an Organic Metal desktop wallpaper.

* Can be in colour or black & white

* No need to draw a background for your pic- keep it white only.

* Try to scan at a higher resolution to maintain quality.

* I'll put the images together at the end, so submit your pic as a Jpeg or Photoshop file to me

* Submissions should be in by the end of August 2005.

o sorry for lying down the job list bomu.. it's just i thougt since u are the big cheese here u should be the designer for the major theme and over apperance... mmm by the end of augy? ok... grr this is going to be hard... but i'll give it my all!

oh yeah btw, are we gonna lay some ground rules, so it all looks uniform kinda, cos god knows we are draw totally different, and quite badly too lol...so what i mean is like, wheres teh lighting source coming from left or right or w/e? stuff like that?

Hmmm Ground rules...

- I guess light source could be coming from the right. No worries if it's not.

- Don't worry about keeping the art style the same. In fact, different styles from different members should probably be encouraged to add a personal touch to your picture..

- Remember, it's onlt a bit of fun, so no need to go overboard on making it the best illustration of your life! I imagine I wont spend more than an hour or two on my pic but obviously, a 5 minute sketch on toilet paper isn't encouraged.

- And yeah, email me Photoshop files or anything over 500K, otherwise, JPEGS etc could be posted on the forum.

oh then sry about e-mailing it to ya! i wish i had it in a bigger size but aparently all my pics are the same size

too bad those were probibly the best eyes i ever made.ben i advise u to go to the link location and find out the size.

ok here's what might help u:
notice what kind of eyes you have:color,the shape depends on your personality like strong minded would be hard cold eyes ect.
look at your hair what does it look like? all this kind of stuff
do facial feature one by one and then put it all together!
