ok, so im 14 and i love drawing manga, and i wanna draw nice looking femailes (e.g nikki) but mty parents would go nuts if they saw pics. any help?

your parents dont have to see them, and you dont have to show your parents. sometimes theres just something really personal about the artwork you do, and theres sacrifices to be made, one is to lock your door. people have different thoughts on things, you cant just tell them its art.

yea whenever im sketching a gurl someone always comes up to me and says "why do you draw only girls? ew come look at whatcencored!!!is drawing!ew this kid is f'ing descusting!

- NZMatt, Yeh, I used to worry about that. Now that I'm in my 20s and have a steady girlfriend it's easier for me to draw sexy girls without looking like a desperate hormone pumped teenager lol

As oneofthosenames said, people will see your art differently- I intentionally make some of my characters to look a little slutty and pervy - it stops me from getting bored! But still consider it pretty tame and can't fully understand why people get so worked up over it. Perhaps I'm naive to think people should just accept whatever it is you're into? Meh..

There shouldn't be a problem in drawing female characters. More than 50% of the world's population are female! If you wanna give 'em typical anime style big knockers and revealing clothing and your parents don't approve, you could just draw in private or at a friends house?
