I got a bootleg copy of photoshop and I'm quite new to it. I have a book called digital manga techniques which has helped me start off but I still have a few questions.

The first one that comes to mind is, when selecting an area with the magic wand, can you select several areas at one and how do you do it?

And another I've thought of is how do you get that cool "four colour" dotted effect?

Thanks.
