This particular one is basically just something for fun.
I was at work one night and chatting to this woman who is involved with this site Michael Jackson News International, she only updates it etc and has nothing to do with the design of the site and was a lil embarrased by it.
I arrived home at 11:30pm and stayed up til 3:00am reworking it.

The 'HOME' bit is there (but not finished) the 'NEWS' bit is mostly finished and the 'KING' bit is there.

and I liked the design only one thing the michael in the backround looks to compressed and jaggy on the outside could need a touch up
but other than his tumbs up from me(as soon as it works in opera ).

Overall you've made good progress. It's a nice little clean cut site with easy navigation and the colour scheme's pretty easy on the eyes. The fixed BG looks good and the fact that it's quick to load's always good!

For it's pupose, it's good, but as far as site design goes, It's a little too basic for my tastes. Actually I'd prefer a 'lighter' colour scheme too to make it look a little more inviting and now that Michael Jackson's white- it'd have a sub meaning too

bomu I checked the wav thing and Opera has no problem with embedded wav. So I did some testing by changing opera so that it downloads wav instead of playing them and opera didn't reacted wich means that the browser can't see it.
my guess it that its just a little spell error in the code or the path/filename describetion (I said it isn't as forgiving as IE ).

But it was hard to find it and I came across alot of pages that said, "they have the embedded stuff on it" but I couldn't hear it( most of them showed me the nice gray "missing plug in" box). Well today I found the first page again and take a more carefull look at the code, it looked like this
*EMBED hidden=true src="intro.wav" volume="100" autostart="true"* *NOEMBED* *BGSOUND src="intro.wav"* */NOEMBED*

so it seems like opera isn't understanding the embedded code, but plays the old IE bgsound thing.
When there is a loop command for it it hopefully works.

Edit: needed to correct your thread GiAm, by using the < tags it can mess with the layout some times, try using * instead of < in the future- cheers

It seems "noembed" is an invalid mark up but the BGsound code wont work properly (on IE) without it. I tried it without and it plays the same wav file twice at the same time!
What I'll do is make a moddified mock-up page and ask you to check it out, if that's ok GiAm?
