Well you want Samurai's and Sword Fight so I guess Feudal Japan could do it (and Japan is big enough for the Huge Land Part ).
but to be more in detail think about the locations
snowy mountains, old rainy Forest, small towns, Big City's whit all its crime, great palace where some festivals take place.

Ok next question.

you want an Ultimate Hero so who is he and waht makes him the ultimate:

is he/she a skillfull swordmaster, a magican
,maybe a small boy who saw once how a demon can be killed.
Also don't forget the motivation of them.

normally when you start anwsering questions like this more will come and it flows quite easly.

I actully came up whit something by writing this.

here we go.

It plays in the old japan during some clanwars (dunno wich period).
while the country side is turned to red by the blood and fire off burning courpse's, hasn't the city's changed a lot.
Its still the same trade and crime as ever.
The only thing that its different is that a religiones group (could be christians) declared they found a way to get rid of all the suffering in the world.

Well our hero is a young but skillfull Necromancer, living in the redlight district of the city and while most of th people in the city think that the group is totaly crazy but he knows it better and because he really likes his life of sex, drugs and rock'n roll (ok sex sake and kabuki) he travels after them to kill the priests one by one.

ok enough but by re reading it I have alot questions allready, like how became the hero a necromancer (flashback time ),are the priest really powerfull enough to turn the world into a peacefull place or are they makeing it just in to a quiet place (I mean death quiet like ).
are there other wich travel with the hero to help him and wil the hero ever have a own name.

Mike, Plot?? Don't look at me, I have enough trouble writting my own existing stuff, let alone something new >_<
Why not just think of films you like then take different aspects and influences from them to create something new... I'm sure that's what most writters do.

well I guess for a plot I thing you allready found a good way to trick as giving you one
so we see how this thing is turning out.

For the good/bad one, uhm I personally think its like this.

Normaly every person in a story is neutral to good.
Except the one who got the story focus he/she is the hero(even if it is a bad guy).
So when everyone presume's that all are good, how do we get a bad guy.
It's easy we have to tell the audience he is (think about darth vader how we know he is bad couse he leads a attack against a small underpowered group wich are only trying to defend their beautyfull princess and that in the first minutes of the film).
