All right i better get it over with: I've written a poem. I know sad ain't it?? Anyway, i really wanted to write a song but since it wouldn't be performed, i just decied to stick with a poem. It's my first ever attempt and i'll let you figure what it's on about:

The Drug

this world is fading,
my head is leaving.
awake - yet
soon dreaming.

I want to laugh
I want to cry
the world is gone
I say good bye.

I am alive
I am a God
me is dancing
but some just nod.

I do rise
I see the stars
girls from venus
me from mars

Heaven’s calling
flying high
live forever
I will never die.

peak is coming
my soul burns
I am crying
an Angel turns

the peak is here
and She does stare
total silence
We have no care

She smiles
my heart skips
Her faded jeans
complete with rips

the Drug starts again
all scream and shout
me and Angel
In Heaven. No doubt.

the Trip is over
We start to kiss.
my drug, the Music
I will miss.

hmm....if it was a song that would be weerd...probably have to be slow...

No dude, the drug is the music. The right song can fucking take me to heaven and back. Maybe it doesn't happen to others but to me it does. I don't need to take X or anything else (luckily).

man great one and I totaly know what you are talking about.

as for turning it into a song I would say either some old rockband along the lines of queens or some downtempo stuff(think of dido+faithless).

and tnx for providing us with something different on the board.

Nah, it ain't sad.. Tricky perhaps *thinks back to English lessones from years ago* >_<

GiAm - i'm don't know the exact theme of my song yet. nad yeah i've bin getting into rock and nu metal latley (as in the last year)
